CEO Moritz speaking at Automated Driving Systems Conference & Expo on June 19-20
This year gestigon showed the first fully integrated Interior Cocoon solution in a real car & on the road. Regarding this successes gestigon’s CEO Moritz will high light a number of the challenges, solutions, and methodologies to provide interior tracking functionalities.
Join his speech at the Automated Driving Systems Conference on June 19-20 in Washington DC and discuss the latest advances that the industry has made in self-driving vehicles.
The event brings together academia, industry, transit and fleet operators, insurers, and legislatures to discuss their plans for safe self-driving vehicles and to address the challenges related to design, testing, deployment, and regulations of ADSs.
A forecast of Moritz' speech:
Interior Cocoon as prerequisite for a safe, autonomous mobility
Most discussions about autonomous mobility cover the navigation of the car. But how will the passengers be able to use the additional time in the car and how can today's safety standards be transformed into the new epoch of mobility. Understanding passenger behavior, recognizing objects and creating an Interior Cocoon can be (part of) the solution. gestigon (being part of the Valeo group) is global market leader for full body-, behavior- and object tracking in the car interior. At the CES2018 we showed the first fully integrated Interior Cocoon solution in a real car & on the road. In this talk, I will high light a number of the challenges, solutions, and methodologies to provide interior tracking functionalities.
