gestigon wins car HMI award 2014
gestigon won the CAR HMi Award 2014 for its automotive gesture control service offering recognition solutions for implicit and explicit gestures. With it's application, gestigon successfully surpassed competitors, convinced the expert jury and qualified as a potential winner of the CAR HMi Award 2014 in the category Innovative HMi Technology (3rd prize)
The independent jury included Oskar Juhlin (Director, Mobile Life VinnExcellence Center), Bryan Reimer (Research Scientist, AgeLab, MIT), Manfred Tscheligi (Director of ICT&S Center, University of Salzburg), Stefan Liske (Founding Partner, PCH INNOVATIONS) and Andrew Hart (Head of Advanced Research, SBD(Secured By Design) Ltd).
The CAR HMi Concepts & Systems 2014 Congress was organised by we.CONECT to discuss latest innovations, strategic approaches and new global trends in automotive human machine interface design and development. The congress and award ceremony took place in the RAMADA Hotel in Berlin, June 25-27th, 2014.
