Join speech and panel of our CEO Moritz at Autonomous Vehicle Interior Design & Technology Symposium 2017 on 25-26 October in Detroit
The Autonomous Vehicle Interior Design & Technology Symposium USA is a conference exclusively dedicated to showcasing the latest designs and innovations that will shape the future of vehicle interiors. It will take place in in the Suburban Collection Showcase Novi, Michigan, USA and bring together a wide range of automotive specialists and anyone involved in the future of automotive and passenger vehicle interiors.
On the second day our CEO Moritz is going to speak about Passenger behavior tracking as a prerequisite for NHTSA safety (10.00 am on October 26). Here is a forecast:
The NHTSA requires an understanding of the state of the driver with regard to positioning to be able to provide state-of-the-art safety solutions by 2018. Plus, several regulators require black boxes for self-driving cars to provide up to two years of driver data in case of accidents and misuse (speeding, hit and run, etc.). To fulfill this, not only the eyes, but also the position and orientation of the head, body, arms, hands and legs need to be tracked. Gestigon is market leader and will elaborate on the needs and challenges of 3D tracking software.
In connection there will be a panel discussion (10.30am - 11am) about driver monitoring with our CEO Moritz v. Grotthuss and Rajeev Thakur, regional marketing manager, Osram Opto Semiconductors and Joe Klesing, executive director, Nexteer Automotive.
Don’t miss this speech and join the panel!
